The goal is to stop leaks, restore a strong flush, and make the toilet run quietly and reliably again. I focus on common non-licensed repairs inside the tank and at accessible connections, with clean workmanship and careful testing. Before I leave, I confirm proper fill level, smooth flushing, and no dripping at the supply line or tank connections. Pricing is straightforward: the repair is quoted as a flat rate based on the specific issue, so you know the total before work begins. I serve Ottawa, Nepean, Barrhaven, Kanata, and Orléans.

What’s included: inspection and diagnosis, replacement of common toilet components such as fill valves, flappers, flush mechanisms, tank bolts, supply lines, seals, and other accessible non-licensed parts, followed by full operational testing.

When this service is a good fit: the toilet won’t stop running, the tank refills slowly, the handle feels loose, the flush is weak or inconsistent, or you notice dripping around the tank, supply connection, or shutoff area.

Process & expectations: I shut off water as needed, inspect the inside-tank setup, remove worn parts carefully, install the correct replacements, and then run multiple test cycles (refill, flush, and leak check). If I find corrosion, damaged threads, or a problem that changes the scope, I’ll explain it immediately before proceeding.

Not included / when a licensed plumber may be required: this page covers typical non-licensed toilet repairs and accessible component replacements. It does not include opening walls, replacing in-floor/in-wall drain piping, altering main drain lines, replacing a toilet flange, or other work that requires licensed plumbing. If the issue is related to the building drain, damaged flange, or any repair that goes beyond accessible components, I will tell you upfront so you can bring in a licensed plumber if needed.
