If you’re upgrading to a smart lock, I set it up so the keypad/app functions work the way you expect (codes, auto-lock, and basic connectivity). Before I finish, I test the door closing, locking, and re-locking cycles to confirm smooth operation. If I find that the door or frame needs minor adjustment for proper alignment, I explain it before proceeding. Smart lock setup & final checks: for compatible smart locks, I help with basic configuration such as pairing (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth where applicable), setting passcodes, enabling auto-lock, and confirming the lock responds consistently. I verify smooth latch engagement and that the door locks without forcing the handle.

Not included / limitations: this service does not include re-keying cylinders, master-key systems, or specialized locksmith work. It also does not include major door/frame rebuilding; if the jamb is severely damaged, the door is sagging heavily, or there are structural issues beyond minor adjustment, I will let you know what needs to be addressed first. Smart lock features can vary by brand and home network; I set up the lock based on the manufacturer’s app flow, but ongoing Wi-Fi/router issues are outside the installation scope.
